Microbiology
Graduated from the School of Medicine, Alexandria University in November 1969.
Received her Master and Doctorate from Alexandria University in 1973 and 1977, respectively. and appointed as lecturer in Microbiology till 1982 and then as Assistant Professor of Microbiology (1982-1987). Since then, held the tenure of Professor, Chairperson and Professor Emeritus of Microbiology in the Department of Microbiology, High Institute of Public Health, Alexandria University.
Research Activities: has particular interest in diagnostic and public health microbiology.
