Epidemiology.
Professor Nahla Khamis Ibrahim is an Egyptian physician and professor of Epidemiology and a medical educator. I’m working at the High Institute of Public Health, Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt.
I have M.B., B.Ch, MPH (Epidemiology) & Dr.PH (Epidemiology). I have also two other degrees in medical education; DHPE and JMHPE (Maastricht University /SCU)). I’ve more than 150 publications mostly published in ISI journals. I learn both undergraduate and postgraduates Diplomas, Master, Ph.D., and board students. I’ve worked as a consultant in many international organizations like WHO, UNICEF, Saudi CDC, etc.
I am an evaluator of research proposals and examined many theses. I’ve conducted many training workshops for staff members, undergraduate and postgraduate medical students on research methodology, infectious disease epidemiology, etc.
The areas of her interest are Research methodology, Communicable Disease Epidemiology, Epidemiological Surveillance, Artificial Intelligence, Child abuse, Evidence-based Medicine, Clinical trials & Meta-analysis, Pharmaco-epidemiology, Nutritional epidemiology, Health Education, Public Health Ethics, Quality Assurance, Accreditation & Medical Education. She has supervised and evaluated many masters and Ph.D. theses. I am a distinguished Peer reviewer & editor in more than 30 international, regional and national journals such as WHO/ EMHJ, BMC, Plos-One, Clinical Epidemiology Journal (USA), International Journal of Women's Health, SMJ, Egyptian Journal of Public Health, Annals of Saudi Medicine, etc. I am selected as one of WHO’s WHO encyclopedias for being one of a special professor of epidemiology.
