Epidemiology
I am Epidemiologist with PhD in Public Health (majoring epidemiology). I joined the High Institute of Public Health in 2011. Between 2014 and 2019, I have been selected as a temporary adviser in several projects with the WHO - Country Office of Egypt. In 2019 I spent 8 months as a fellow in the Fellowship@EMRO program in the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office in Cairo, Egypt. During that time, my area of workwas mainly related to event-based surveillance (including community-based surveillance and internet event-based surveillance). During the COVID-19 pandemic, I was assigned to be the focal point for COVID-19 epi data analysis.
